Artwork Requirements

To ensure timely workflow and best quality of work, it is important to receive existing artwork, ideas, engineered drawings, logos, images and related items from our customers in acceptable formats. Our systems are Macintosh based. Artwork should be saved in or exported to Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) file format if possible.

All Artwork will be reviewed upon receipt and you will be notified if additional work is required.Vector images (recommended for all jobs)

File Format: (starting with most preferred)

FILE FORMATS - APPLICATIONS

• Illustrator CS5 (. ai) or earlier
Fonts should be saved in outlines or provided to us in a compressed folder

• EPS (.eps)
Exported from an application other than ones listed here

• Auto Cad (.dxf) or (.dwg)
Auto Cad files may require detailed revisions to convert to our graphic program and extra charges may apply

• Acrobat (.pdf)
It is recommended to send a .pdf for sales to view along with the art file for the art department to use

• Photoshop CS5 (.psd)
Artwork that includes halftones and four colour items

• Indesign (.indd)
For manuals and multiple pages

LINKS AND IMAGES

Vector images (recommended)
• EPS (.eps) embedded into illustrator

Raster images (must be 300dpi or higher)
• Photoshop images (.psd, .tif, .jpg, .bmp, etc.)

Please also send any accompanying linked files (pictures, images, logos or fonts) in the formats mentioned above.
